Sushi Bar

This experimental sushi bar sits inside a historic building and pairs Japanese aesthetics with a dramatic, intimate atmosphere. It's open only Thursday through Saturday, built around exclusivity and late-night dining in small groups. Deep red lighting sharpens the contrast between the building's historic bones and the contemporary interior.

The sushi bar sits at the entrance and greets guests first. On either side, two rooms deliberately play off each other: a cocktail bar on one side, a communal dining room on the other.

The long table in the dining room works as a flexible social piece, inspired by traditional Japanese seating. Its legs retract, letting it drop from a 50 cm dining height up to bar height, so how the room gets used shifts as the evening goes on.
